Arangetram

After learning a set of dances, that is form Alarippu to thillana the dancer is introduced, the first time to the audience through arangetram. In Sanskrit it is otherwise called ''Ranga Pravesam''. This is to show our art so that we are blessed by the almighty, our guru and elders. For this atleast 5 to 6 years rigorous practice under a able Guru is required. During Ranga Pravesam it is very necessary to honour Guru.
